Showing No Device in Micromax 3G Data Card in Windows 8 / 8.1 Problem (SOLVED).

In Windows 8 / 8.1, some Micromax 3G Data Cards ( like MMX 352G, MMX 353G ) software shows No Device, simply the OS doesn't detect the modem.
 No need to worry because I have a simple solution to rectify this problem.

 

Follow these instrcutions Step by Step ::

1. Uninstall any previous Micromax modem software and restart your PC.

2. Open the modem folder and right click on "modem_installation.exe" and go to compatability tab and select Windows 7.

3. After installing the modem driver restart your PC.

4. Insert the modem in your PC and then start the software ( it shows "No Device" ), then exit the application from the tray icon.

5. Next go to your installation folder as:
For x64 bit OS –> C:\Program Files (x86)\MMX353G 3G USB Manager\Driver\Win7_64
For x32 bit OS –> C:\Program Files\MMX353G 3G USB Manager\Driver\Win7_32

6. Copy the file "cmnsusbser.sys" and paste it to "C:\Windows\System32\drivers" folder, do replace if any older version is already present.

7. Now, go back to installation folder and simply:
right click on "cmnsmdm.inf" and click install, then right click on "cmnsser.inf" and click install.

8. Restart your PC and insert your Micromax data card and enjoy browsing on Windows 8 / 8.1.
